Mold testing is a crucial component to any mold inspection, and in determining the health of a property. Not only is mold damaging to the structure of your home, but it can also very easily get you or your family sick! Prolonged exposure to certain types of mold can be very dangerous as they can generate mycotoxins. Our inspectors, once a client agrees to take mold testing, will collect either air or swab lifts which will then be sealed and sent to a 3rd party lab for direct analysis. After the lab completes their analysis, they will send us a copy of your lab report which we will then send to you and explain the results. Based on the levels of contamination and types of mold found within the home or property, we will then provide recommendations based on the combination of the visual inspection and lab results. Lab results are quick, and generally only take around 2 business days to get back.
